Done Tubal Ligation. Cramps, Lower Back Pain, Bloating, Dizziness, Fatigue. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Pregnant?

14 years ago I had a tubal ligation. I'm almost 43 and had to have my left ovary and tube removed due to an ectopic pregnancy on 2-14-13. I have had normal periods every since until now. I am at lease a week late and I have been experiencing cramps, lower back pain, bloating, dizziness when I stand up and fatigue (for 7 days). I have taken 3 pregnancy tests in the last 4 days. Could I be pregnant, have an ectopic pregnancy on the other side or is it normal to miss periods after?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

Getting ectopic pregnancy after tubal ligation is not common.
But as you got once the possibility may not be completely excluded.
Refer:http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/02/ectopic-pregnancy-types-diagnosis-and.html
The irregularity in periods can be due to age related hormonal fluctuation also.
But as you are having pain, dizziness etc. better to rule out repeat ectopic pregnancy once.
Consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for ultrasound to rule out ectopic and possible pelvic infection.
After ruling out these you can go for symptomatic treatment.
