The semen analysis
only gives a general idea of fertility
. Some males with normal results may have problems conceiving and others with abnormal results may have no problem with conception.
The volume is normal at 2ml, it should be at least this amount.
Alkaline ph is normal
The sperm count
is also normal, it should be at least 20 million
Motility should be at least 50% (rapidly progressive and sluggishly progressive). At least 70% are non progressive and immotile, this is more than would normal.
More than 30% are to have a normal shape and this is so, which is good.
