Done Hysterectomy. Hot Flashes, Headache, Mood Swings, Brain Fog. Need Help

Hello, I had a full hysterectomy on May 28/2013 and turned 50 on May 31/2013. Before Surgery my Gyno told me that from my blood work I was through menopause & wouldn't need HRT therapy. After the third week of surgery I started having symptomns again way worse than before the surgery (Severe hot flashes,BRAIN FOG( it's more like they removed my brain and not my reproductive organs),severe headaches, mood swings...very weepy, NO ENERGY, insomnia, depression.) I had gone back to my gyno and she re did my blood work and now my levels show that I am back into menopause.I am so frustrated because I can not function like this and I feel hopeless because I am a very high risk for breast cancer and do not want to take estrogen. Before the surgery I coped with the menopause symptomns and still enjoyed my life but now I feel so bad that I feel like I have NO LIFE because I really haven't been given any options by my doctor to get back into balance other than the estrogen. I would SO APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE because I literally feel like the I have lost my mind !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
You mentioned in your query that there is high risk for breast cancer , so estrogen treatment is not possible for you.
Don't be desperate as all these symptoms are related or due to menopause.
Treatment is as follows,
1 Antidepressant ( venlafaxine )
2 clonidine,
3 vitamin E
4 Consumption of soybased products.
One more treatment I would like to advice you , please engage in such activities like social work , so that your maximum time consume in that work .
I had tried this method over many patients with success.
Good luck.
