Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The cramping and light period that you are having after an endometrial ablation is a normal finding. Such mild bleeding can persist in some cases for upto 4 weeks. This will gradually regularize to normal periods without any treatment. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. To have light period after ablation is quite normal & expected. However, this sever pain after 4-5 months of the procedure is not normal. You MUST NOT ignore this. Please have one trans-vaginal ultrasound & blood pregnancy test as soon as possible to rule out an ectopic pregnancy & get in touch with your Gynecologist. Wish you good health. Take care.
