Dog bite, do I need to see a doctor or medical help

I was chased by 2-3 stray dogs out of which one did bite on right upper thigh. I was wearing thick jog pant. there are no bite or scratch mark but a slight feeling of itchiness in the area. do I need to see a doctor or medical help

hello.. if there r not bite marks or scrath .. n saliva.. then rabi injection is not required.. jus apply oil to avoid itching.. god bless..

In case skin is bruised a bit even, you must seeks ATS and anti rabies injection as at this stage this is very minor and ordinary treatment but if rabies or tetanus devolps then agony increases many folds.

yes,dog bite is such a thing that you should not ignore a minor thing.Even if you are not clear whether the teeth has touched or broken your skin or not you must get anti rabies vaccine full course.Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water and then visit a doctor for treatment.please complete the course .
