Does Wellbutrin Affect TSH Levels?

I would like to know if Wellbutrin XL 450mg daily can have an effect on TSH levels. It seems to have increased for the person on this medication and he has some hypothyroidism symptoms and a TSH level that I think should be treated but is not being noticed.

HI
WELLBUTRINXL CONTAINS BUPROPION.BUPROPION IS NOT KNOWN TO CAUSE HYPOTHYROIDISM.SO RAISED TSH LEVELS IS NOT RELATED TO THE DRUG.
RAISED TSH LEVELS INDICATE HYPOTHYROIDISM.STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT TSH LEVELS MORE THAN 10 DEFINATELY NEEDS TREATMENT.IF TSH IS RAISED BUT LESS THAN 10 IT MAY NOT REQUIRE TREATMENT.SO I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO DISCUSS WIYH YOUR PHYSICIAN AND START TREATMENT ACCORDINGLY.
I HOPE MY OPINION WILL HELP YOU
THANKS
