Hi Amr. Yours is a very early Varicocele. Varicoceles dont usually affect sex life. They can however lead to a decrease in the sperm count and then can indirectly lead to inability to conceive a child in some cases. Other than that, it does not cause any problem. What you can do to control it at this place is to wear tight underwear so that the testicles do not hang freely at any time specially when you walk, run or exercise. No medication is likely to help with the condition. You should keep it in observation and feel above the testicle every six months or so to look for a feeling of bag of worms which would suggest an increase in size of the Varicocele which can then be corroborated with a fresh Doppler study. But, as of now you need not worry and your sex life will not be bothered in any way. Take care and feel free to ask any further queries by leaving a Direct question or a Specialist question for me on the site. Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
