I am a 45 year old female, weighing 93 kilos but 6 weeks ago i weighed 103 and then went on a health kick. This morning I woke up desperate to go pee but couldnt go at all. (We had been out for a few alcoholic drinks the last two nights.) I have a uterine fibroid (approx 6cm) and wonder if this is blocking a tube. The dr did think I may be pre type 2 diabetic last year but I recently had a blood test after losing weight and exercising regularly and my glucose level went right down. I have read that diabetes can damaged the nerves and I am now worried that I may need a catheter permanetly or something. I did manage to go eventually but it takes a lot of effort & I stil have a few pains in my stomach from strain. This happened about 2 months ago and last year for the first time too. My ankles have swollen too. I am drinking lots of water to try to flush my system but scared that I will be so bloated and not able to go again.
