Does Use Of A Kerosene Heater Cause Exhaustion?

We use a kerosene heater in our shop, I usually am around it at least 3-4 hrs a day. I ve been exhausted lately to the point of trying to fall asleep at stop lights while driving. I have no energy and i am just wondering if the Kerosene could have something to do with it? Thanks

Hi,
Use of kerosene heater ,over a long time/over multiple days, exposes one to kerocsene fumes which contain carbon monoxide.
It causes extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea, confusion ,lac of co ordination. You being in contact with the poisonous gas, daily since long time probably you have overcome other effects like nausea vomiting & extreme fatigue has become predominant-to give you the symptoms.
I would advise you to -
- avoid inhailing kerosene fumes by using nasal filters.
- Try by putting of the heater,& stay in an airy place with fresh air, have some refreshing drink & then move to car & start driving.
- withdraw from using kerosene heater & switch on to electrical ones.
Thanks.
