Does Uretal Stent Reduce Alcohol Tolerance?

I had uretal stent (2) for 8 weeks after hysterectomy surgery complication and my bladder was sliced badly. I had fist night out where I only had 3 glasses of very expensive champagne and have woken up ill when normally I would have been ok. Could this bladder injury/stents have caused greater sensitivity o alcohol?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern.
Normally, ureteral stents are not known to cause alcohol intolerance.
Bladder injury and hysterectomy also, don't cause alcohol intolerance.
If you're having the blood reports at the time of surgery, and present medication, if any, you may send them to me, for an expert opinion,as to what could cause this. Send it as a direct question in my name.
