Does Trauma To The Testicles Affect The Fertility Of A Person?
I am curious to find out some general information about male fertility (myself) after engaging in aggressive sexual play, once having pins stuck into my balls a long time ago. I am in a relationship now and would like children at some point and this has always hung over my head. I did have blood in my semen for a couple days following, but since things have seemed to go back to normal. I understand getting tested is the ultimate answer but I am curious in general how likely it is that i damaged my production of sperm?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. In blunt trauma with hematuria with normalization after few days indicates that injury had been healed completely. there is less than one percent chance to have decrease sperm count. No case uptill now has been reported to have infertility due to blunt trauma. All that you have to do is to wear loose pants, do your testicular ultrasound and semen analysis if you did not procreate after one year consecutive unprotected intercourse. Hope it helps best. Take your best care. Don't forget to rate this answer and close the discussion at healthcare magic. Regards Dr Ejaz
