Does Tooth Infection Causes Heart Problems?

I had a tooth break off several years ago. In the past few years , it had completlely disappeared above the gumline. I guess the roots are still in my gum. It is not painful surprisingly but I have a rather large bump on the roof of my mouth. It has been there for a couple of years at least. It gets tender sometimes. I worry about the effects this could have on my heart. I have read about infections causing heart problems but I don't have dental insurance and don't know what to do. Is this something that should be taken care of asap?

there is no recent evidence of tooth infection causing heart problems.
but throat infection can cause heart problems like rheumatic heart disease.
so do not worry about it.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
