Does The Urine Culture Result During Pregnancy Indicate UTI?
Hi,
I am 16 weeks pregnant. In my last urine routine test, it was found that I have UTI.
(But I dont have any symptoms of UTI)
So we went for a urine culture. The result says:
Gram stain: Occasional pus cells and occasional gram positive bacilli see.
Culture report: Insignificant growth of urethral commensals.
What does this mean. Do i really have UTI.If so how bad. Should I start taking antibiotics?
Doctor has prescribed TAXIM-O 200mg before the urine culture was done.
