Does The Stool Test Have Any Linkage With Deficiency Of B12?

hello doctor. During my B 12 vitamin test, i was diagnosed deficiency of B 12. In fact i was suffering from tiredness, fatigue, lethargy, memory loses and Cognitive issues. After B 12 deficiency diagnosis, my doctor carried out stool RE/Ova/Cyst test. The results include: consistency: Formed, color: Dark brownish, Reaction: Alkaline, Mucus, blood, occult blood : Not present, pus cells: 3-4/HPF, RBCs: Nil and Ova/cyst: Not seen what does stool test depict? Does it forms any linkage with deficiency of B 12?

your stool test is essentially normal .In some cases not all pernicious anemia which is a form of vitamin B12 deficiency can happen and doing a routine stool test is one of its investigative test.
