Does The Medication For Sore Throat During Pregnancy Affect The Baby?
i am 23 weeks pregnant and have been frequently suffering from sore throats! i have been prescribed ceftum 500mg b.d. dose for 7days. i have done the medicine course about three times in 6 months of pregnancy and i want to know any adverse effects (if any) of the drug on my baby..

It's alright to have the antibiotic and rather cephalosporins are safest in pregnant state.
but in future avoid risk factors which can lead to sore throat.
