Does Teary Eyes And Irritation Not Improving After Medication Require Medical Attention?
Hello doctor. I have been suffering with eye irritation and overflowing tears for 2 weeks. I was prescribed Lotecheck and Ocupol D, but there was not improvement. So I was give Chymoral Forte today and still there is no improvement. Could you pls suggest if I should wait for a couple of more days before approaching the doctor. Thanks.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having irritation and watery eyes not improving to medical treatment. You have taken lotecheck, ocupol D and chymoral forte. Lotecheck is a steroid and ocupol D is combination of antibiotic with steroid. Chymoral forte is an antinflammatory and antiedema drug. From the above history it seems you are having inflammation of the eyes. Since your symptoms are not responding to treatment by the above mentioned drugs. I suggest you to consult your doctor for examination to find out the underlying causes and treatment accordingly. The common causes for eye irritation are allergies and eye inflammations.
Thank you
