Does Taking Propanolol Cause Sight Problems?
Hi I had a Svt and was put on Propananol. My vision started deteriorating..Then I was put on prednisolone for temporal arteritis.My vision loss has become acute. Now legally blind.and very upset about it all.My Dr is tapering me slowly off prednisolone as they think that is causing all my problems. I have Cushings disease amongst other things but I am wondering if Propanolol is giving me chemical poisoning and may be a factor in my sight loss.I am very sensitive to chemicals.

I really appreciate your concern your vision problem may not be due to the medicines that you ate taking either the steroid (Prednisolone) or anti-hypertensive drug "Propranolol" in my opinion retina should be examined to rule out the retinal pathology then comes the MRI study without this nothing can be said, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
