Does Taking Plan B While Ovulating Reduce Its Efficacy?

Hey, Quick question. Does plan B still work if you are already ovulating? What s the likeliness of becoming pregnant? I have a cycle 26-27 days. Last period start was July 6th. Had unprotected sex on the 16th twice, he did cum in me. I took plan B on the 19th at like 8:30 am. Looked at period calendar and they said I would have been in my fertile window 2-3 days before ovulation. I have read report saying taking the pill on ovulation day can actually promote pregnancy?

Failure of emergency contraceptive pill is more if you take them in ovulation period.
This is because of hormonal changes during ovulation.
You had unprotected Intercourse in Fertile period of your cycle.
So chances of pregnancy are also very high.
You also have took plan B in ovulation time. So it's efficacy might also be be low.
So if you misses your next period then better to get done Urinary pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy.
Better to avoid unprotected Intercourse if you don't want pregnancy.
