Does Taking Oxycodone ER In Short Intervals Cause Any Dangerous Side Effects?

I have hurt my sciatic nerve and I ve got pain medicine for it.....I took a Oxycodone ER 30 mg........which I m supposed to take every 12 hours.....but because my pain has been so bad, I took an Oxycodone 40 mg after 7 hours.......Is this dangerous? My Pulse rate is 103 YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for the query.
- Oxycodone is a habit forming pain medicine . Earlier dosage taken repeatedly may superimpose it action with possibility of side effects with higher intensity ( dizziness.. fainting. .. mood changes,confusion,difficult breathing etc)
-To avoid these doctor aims at pain relief mentenance at lowest possible dose.
So you should continue with advised dose &go for review .. doctor will change doses if needful.
