Does Taking Folic Acid Supplement Affect The Menstrual Cycle?

Good Day, i have been taking Folic Acid for 2 months now (prescribe by my OBGyn) when i started taking Folic Acid i notice that my menstruation cycle length is shorter days (10 days from my last period), before taking this medicine my average menstrual cycle is 25 to 26 days.... does folic acid tablets really affects mentsrual cycles????

Hi, folic acid intake doesn't affect the menstrual cycle length. It can be due to some other reason like stress. You can consult a gynecologist regarding this. Hope it helps.
