Does Swollen, Red And Sore Spot On Collar Bone Indicate Tick Bite?

Dear Dr. Rynne, I just returned from a vacation on the cape where there were a large amount of ticks. I have a new puppy who after keeping ouy of the grass - has three seeming dog ticks sort of attached to her. I also found an additional two in the bed I was sleeping in but none on myself. This morning, a spot on my collar bone looked dry but has since become swollen / red / sore. Is it possible this is a tick bite?
