Does Switching Of Contraceptive Pills Alter The Menstrual Cycle?
I started using Yazi contraceptive, i used it for about 5 months then on the 6th month my doctor prescribed Diane 35 i didnt use the 7 day off interval i started with Diane immedielay would that affect menstrual? I have not recieved my period this month
Yes, it is definitely possible that it could affect your menstrual cycle but this should regularize as you continue the medication. Periods are usually lighter , last for a shorter period of time and associated with less pain once hormonalcontraception is used.
Once the medication is taken consistently there is little chance of conception.
I hope this helps
