Does Swimming Help Tendinitis?

Does swimming make tendinitis worse or does it help by strengthening the muscles?

If the tendon is really inflamed, it needs to be rested for at least 3 weeks. If the pain subsides, then you can swim within your limitations. There is no point in "abusing" a tendon which is already sick.
