Does Sunburn Followed By Numbness On Skin Indicate Nerve Damage?

I m missing a pigment (MCR1 I think) in my skin that protects me from UV rays (because of the same mutation that gave me red-hair) and I get sunburned every time I m outside for more than 5-8 minutes. I recently got a sunburn on my upper back and then got sunburned again on top of the first one and now my upper back has very little feeling. It feels like when your foot goes numb and then you pinch it really hard but you only feel a faint sharp pain or tingle. I was wondering if it is nerve damage or skin damage, if there is anything I need put on it, and how long it will take to heal (if it can be healed).

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is just your idea or doubt that you have lack in (MCR1) then you need to get it confirmed because the symptoms may not be due this only, but there is chances of sensitive to sun is very likely, even with the presence of MRC1, till then you can use better sun screen and avoid going out in the sun (This would be even much better than treating the condition) hope this information helps, take care.
