I have sucked the nipple of a sex worker for 05 second and sucked her breast for above 01 minutes. there was no blood or breask milk. It may be but I did not taste it. Am I at risk of hiv infection ?

Thank yo for query.there are no possibility of HIV transmission by sucking the breast.as there are no abrasions and secretions or breast milk there are no chance.also the transmission by oral route is almost nil as the gastrointestinal tract is not conducive for HIV to survive.So the risk is nil for HIV by the route mentioned.You can get back to me for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
