Does Spotting And Light Pink Line In The Pregnancy Test Indicate Pregnancy?
if i were pregnant, i would be 8 weeks. i have had spotting for a few days when my period would have been, both times. all urine tests (8) have been negative until maybe now, at 8 weeks. i took an at home test while spotting and an extremely faint line appeared with a strong control. i read it within the alotted time but it was so faint that i thought i could be imagining it. i sat it down and came back a minute later and looked hard again and swore there was still a thin, pink line. can it really take this long for my hcg to show? if so, is my pregnancy going to be high risk?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Faint pink line with spotting can be due to ectopic pregnancy or abortion.
Sometimes, when the ovulation is delayed, the conception is also delayed and the urine pregnancy tests comes positive a bit delayed.
This can be a possibility in your case.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
