General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Madam
This is Dr.Ram

There are many conditions to be ruled out for the kind of description you have give (round opacity right upper zone -lung )
It can range from a consolidation to a active tuberculosis lesion or a old healed granuloma .
I suggest you better wait for the CT report and get a opinion from the radiologist and then from a pulmonologist regarding the lesion and if any further investigations are required.

Please do quit smoking , after 35 the risk of developing lung cancer is high
in a active smoker.

Thank You
