Does Shingles Cause Fatigue And Excessive Sleepiness?

Been dignosed 2days ago which was the very begining of the virus ( this is my 6h time in a 17 years) with shingles and taking anti viral drug. also taking paxil, pepcid and another drug for my gastro problem, Question; Is shingles making me feel fatigued and sleepy and just out of it? Thank you.

Yes, any viral infection can result in feeling of tiredness and fatigue. Shingles is more prone to these symptoms. In shingles most patients claim they are surprised with severity of tiredness they feel compared to the skin rash.
In any case take 2-3 weeks off work as you will need this time to completely heal and gain your health.
Drink lots of water, eat healthy.
