Does Prolactin Interfere With HCG Levels In Urine?

Dear Doc, i have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years, you can only imagine the psychological trauma am going through. I was diagnosed with high prolactin which i believe could be true coz my breasts were producing milk even though i was not pregnant. Am currently on bromocriptine and my doc also suggested that i take clomid on the 5th day of my cycle to increase my chances of conceiving. Am two days late, but a UPT test is negative. Does prolactin interfere with HCG levels in the urine. Anxiety is killing me, please help.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, just relax and no need to be panic, let me tell you something that pregnancy is natural phenomenon more than physiological one and it depends upon some compatibilities like, presence of sperm and ovum at the time of coitus, with exact hormone level, some time even everything are normal conception does not happens and some time with some obvious abnormalities conception happens, so just keep trying for this, no need to depressed, cheer up, hope this information helps, take care.
