Does Nerve Damage Due To Medication Induce Tinnitus?

hello, I have suffered with tinnitus for some time. I know that I was over medicated, and this caused nerve damage in my brain. also my liver and kidneys have some pain as well. the bottom of my feet are tingling . i cant focus while reading , i have a hard time with concentrating , also its difficult to sleep. i have read some of doctors advice on tinnitus. he states. that gingo biloba can help with the ringing. can you tell me what brand, and dose I should use. also i have degenerative disk disease. i just started to use some magnesium , vitamin d, and calcium and started to go on walks. i have to limit myself. could you suggest what vitamins and supplements i should take, also what type of diet would work for me. thank you for your time.

Hello

Yes medications can definitely damage the inner ear and cause tinnitus, although i would need to know the medications you were using. Ginkgo biloba can help and any brand is ok to use , you will need to use it for at least 3-4 months. There is no specific diet for tinnitus and all food can be eaten. Try to take supplements with vitamin B complex and selenium as the will help you.

Hope you get well soon.

Thanks
