Does My Lipid Profile Test Indicate The Need To Take Rozavel?

Hello Sir,

My name is Ganesh(32 Years,Recently got married) and i got my lipid profie test done last week. The values mentioned in the report has been listed below:

Serum Total Cholesteorl: 208 mg/dl
Serum Triglycerides: 191 mg/dl
Serum HDL: 28 mg/dl
Serum LDL: 142 mg/dl
VLDL Cholesterol: 38 mg/dl

After looking at my report one of my family friend who happens to be a doctor recommended Rozavel F-20 on a daily basis.
Could any one of you please advice if its fine for me to consume Rozavel F-20 daily and for how long i should take this tablet. Also, Could you please highlight any side effects this table would cause on other organs of the body.

Hi Ganesh, thank you for posting at HCM.

The report shows us that total cholesterol, LDL level and tryglicerides are in their borderline.
HDL level is low. When the level is less then 40, the risk of arteriosclerosis is high.

Rozavel(Rosuvastatin) is a good medicine in your case and you should use it.
This medicine raises liver transaminase level.

When using this medicine, it is recommended for the patients to check liver transaminase level.

This medicine is used for three months.

After three months you need another Lipid test to see the result of this medicine.

Take Care.
Dr. Behar.
