Does Mixture Of Medications Cause Migraines?

I need to know if a combination of medications can cause severe migraines. Most of the medications have been taken for years, a couple have been a little over a year. Seroquel 300 mg twice a day, gabapentin 1200 mg nightly, mirtazipine 45 mg nightly, trazadone 300 mg nightly, methenamine hippurate 1 gm 6 pm, hydroxyzine hcl 50 mg nightly. Seroquel, gabapentin, mirtazapine and trazadone have been taken for over 6 years, the methenamine and hydroxyzine have been about 1 1/2 years. Just started getting massive migraines for the past month. Could the mixture cause the migraines?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your all these medicines are psychiatric drugs. So you are having undiagnosed, uncontrolled psychiatric disease.
And this causes stress and anxiety in your case.
Both of them can cause migraine like headache.
So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on it's solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Avoid excessive sun exposure. Avoid oily and spicy food.
Start propranolol and flunarizine combination at night time before bed.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
First consult psychiatrist and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
