Does Masturbation Prevent The Foreskin On The Penis From Retracting ?

Hi, I am 17 and I masturbate 2-3 times a day. The foreskin over my penis has not yet retracted. All my friends say that their foreskin retracted 1 or 2 years before. I am scared. Plz tell me what I should do?

Hi,

Welcome to HCM.
Inability to retract foreskin, occurs in a condition called phimosis.
You should try to slowly retract it, but don't use much force other wise the foreskin may tear. If you are unable to retract it, even after a few tries, then best thing is to consult an urologist, who will examine you and if necessary circumcision may be required.
It is essential that you should be able to retract the foreskin, as deposits called smegma collect behind the head of the penis, which needs to be regularly cleaned otherwise it will cause harm later on.

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare magic forum,
Foreskin wont get retracted by itself, it happens only when u have sex. Try to retract ur skin slowly, if its very painful then dont do it. Consult ur doctor for examination. If u have phimosis then u have to undergo circumcision.
Mastrubation does not cause any harm, but doing 2-3times a day?? mastrubate only when ur sexually excited, dont make it a habit.
