Does Low Hemoglobin Count Affect Pregnancy?

I am pregnant and this is 6th month. 1. Can I take protinex powder during pregnancy? 2. I have some skin infection. Can I use Itchcam lotion and Mson - f cream, which the doctor has prescribed for me, during pregnancy? 3. My weight has reduced over the months in grams and my haemoglobin levels from 11 to 10.8. Will this affect my baby? Has it already affected my baby s growth and development in some way?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Hemoglobin demand increases in pregnancy for development of baby. That must be the cause of reduction in hemoglobin you have. !1 grams is not very low hemoglobin, it can not affect your child's growth till now.But you need to investigate for anemia & get nutritional supplements wright now- this will prevent further fall of Hb%.
1- Protein suppliment is essential in pregnancy/ anemia. You can continue with it.
2 The ointment/lotion for external application does no harm to baby- you can use it as per your doctor's advise,
3 Reduction in weight & fall in Hb% indicates under nourishment/ lac of digestion/appetite. Please get these investigated/solved with your doctor's advise.
Thanks.
Low maternal does affect growth of baby- it may be weak/ under weiht,
