Hello,
I understand your concern. Sevista is a birth control tablet which works by preventing the implantation of a possibly fertilized ovum in the uterus wall. Among the best known side effects of this pill are missed periods as well as heavy menstrual bleeding. You may not get your period for as long as 30 days after taking the last pill. After you get your period you can expect to get a heavy flow. Your next period after that should be back to normal.

I hope this answers your question.
Wishing you all the best.
