Does Intake Of Lamotrigine Help Treat A Person Diagnosed With Parkinson S Disease?

the doctor recently prescribed lamotrigine for my mom. She has parkinson s disease and takes carbadopa-levidopa. She also neuropathy (she is not a diabetic.). She takes gabapentin for that. I noticed the website for lamotrigine says that it is for seizures. Is it probably there to help with her parkinson s?

lamotrigine also use in adult for mood swinging , bipolar disirder, and also maintain some natural balance of brain.
But purely its use for convulsion as anti convulsant.


so, any previous history of seizure/convulsion for mom ????
any psychological mood disorder ???
match with these point.... otherwise consult with your doctor again.
