Does Intake Of I Pill Cause Irregular Periods?

Hi. I have sex with my boyfriend on and off. And the second last time I had an ipill and I got my periods which came on 8th sept. And then again I had sex with him again and that too when I had my periods. It was the second day of I m not mistaken. That was unprotected sex but yet I took an ipill. But I just got a brownish discharge and that too one day and that was later during the same month. Now I don t know whether in October my periods should come on 8th or when. Please help. I m worried.

I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you. 

When you take any post coital pills, your period may be early or delayed by few days, but it also important to take it within 72 hours of unprotected sex. If your period is late by week, it is better to do urine pregnancy test.
As these post coital pills are hormonal agent, I would not advice it's regular use, it is better to go for one or the other methods of contraception, if you are not planning to be pregnant.
