Hi my name is neville. I am a 37 year old indian male, approx 90 kg about 1.9 m tall. I was diagnosed with acromegaly in 99 and in 05 i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes . I am currently on 100 unit of actrapid 3 times a day . My question is will the insulin cause my body to numb up just after injecting ?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if your are diabetic patient and on insulin and experiencing numbness after the insulin injection then this is not due to the injection but this is nonspecific type of complaint and no need to worry about this, take care and have a nice day.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and from the history given here I could say that after the insulin shot body numbness is not likely but of course this could induce hypoglycemic effect which you might be experiencing as the numbness or this could be just functional symptoms, better to have a word with your physician to control the blood glucose level in better way, take care and have a nice day.
