Does Inducible Ischemia Cause Heart Attack?

I had undergone TMT for the first time. The result shows positive for inducible ischamia. I was a smoker for 25years. But i stopped smoking 3 years back. I am a vegetarian. I have high B.P and am taking tablets regularly for last 2 years. Please advise whether i should go for any further tests and am i a high risk candidate for heart attack.

If you have inducibe ischemia, it means you have coronay heart disease. It is narrowing or blockage of coronary artery/arteries which can lead to heart attack in case it is not treated.
Therefore you should receive specific treatment for it, which includes B blockers, aspirin and statins.
Also you can discuss about angiography with your doctor.

Have a good health
