Does Increased Dose Of Accutane Cause Dizziness?
Hi there my son who turns 19 july 1st has been on accutane generic claravis for the past 5 weeks..His first dosage was 40mg 1 tab once a day. last week his dose was increased to 30mg twice a day....he has been on this new dose for 5 days now and just developed dizziness...is this a common side affect. He has no other medical issues

it may be due to over dose ,
dose of claravis (isotretineon) is 0.5 mg to 1 mg per kg of body weight in divided doses,
it is given for cystic acne for 4 to 5 months depend on severity.
reduce it from 60 mg to 50 mg per day .discuss with your doctor,
after some days you can take 60 mg /day.
check liver function test & cholesterol periodically,
take care.
