Does Implanon Induce Hypoglycemia?

I am hypoglycemic, I have been for as long as I can remember. It used to be controled but regaurdless of what I eat it happens everyday. I am slightly over weight with no energy to work out. I have had implanon for almost a year, I was just wondering if that works against it as well?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Hypoglycemia is low level of sugars. Work out requires energy. In hypoglycemia Sugar levels are less to provide required energy. So energy is not enough to do work out. Implanon has nothing to do with hypoglycemia. Try out snacks and frequently to prevent hypoglycemia.

Hope this helps you.
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala.
