Does Ibs Cause Pain In Chest And Rib Cage?

I have been "Diagnosed" with IBS. Since then, i have also been experiencing random chest and rib cage pains, along with some tightness and heaviness. Is this related, or should i be worried. I have been worked up from head to toe, as my case was hard to figure out, Which they basically gave up on and said " You have ibs, we cant find anything wrong''

Well come to HCM
IBS is more or less functional condition and does not have any pathology behind this and this can shows many nonspecific symptoms which could disturb sometime if taken too seriously and become depressed, so just relax, and be positive, practical, nothing would go wrong, everything would be fine soon, take care and have a nice day.
