Does Hypothyroidism Cause Irregular Periods?

hello .my name is utsav.MY age is 22+.i am suffering from hypothroidism.my tsg level is 6.8.earlier it was 7.i have been taking thyronorm now replaced by thyrox 50 mg...i am suffering from irregular periods..firstly the irregular one happened in november...yk there is a 2 month gap and now in march...is this normal..m overweight as well.

Dear madam, Greetings from HCM.... i understand your problem...YES HYPOTHYROIDISM CAUSES DISTURBED CYCLES...your TSH levels are still high ... i think you need to increase the dose of thyronorm by consulting with your treating doctor. Better get your fT2, fT4, TSH rechecked in a good lab and meet your treating doctor soon ... thank you for contacting us and do contact us for more queries ...
