Does Herpes Cause Severe Mood Swings?
my daughter is 32 years old and basically healthy. She has herpes outbreaks and and has pms. When she is on her period everyone wants to hide and not come out until it is over. Her moods swings are becoming worse and worse. Does the herpes have anything to do with this?

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I advice you that herpes has nothing to do with the mood changes herpes limits its location up to dorsal spinal ganglia and it dose not cross the brain barrier to reach the brain.
