Does Hard Water Cause Excessive Hairfall?

Hi Im having severe hairfall for the past year since I moved to noida where there is hard water. I consulted a doctor and he recommended tugain, logihair tablets, iron tablets (as i have low haemoglobin), Cipla 8x shampoo, and also a anti fungal tablet to be taken once a week. I did all of this and my hair was fine for 2 months after discontinuing the medicines. I would also like to mention that I got this treatment at my hometown where there is no hard water problem. But now im having severe hairfall again. I again started all the prescribed medicines but nothing seems to work. Im turning bald. Im a girl btw. I strongly feel it s the hard water and im thinking of shifting to delhi where water quality is good. Please tell me can hard water really cause such severe hairfall? Because i have tried everything..

No hard water cant be the cause of severe hair fall you are experiencing. It can make your hair only dry or brittle. Your hair loss could be due to stress associated with change of place like shifting to noida, due to low haemoglobin,thyroid disorder and hormonal problem. You need to get certain tests done like hb, tsh , serrum ferritin levels and the treatment will be started accordingly.
