Does Goat Cheese Contain Iodine?

My daughter is 27 and has thyroid cancer. She will be starting her no/low iodine diet this week to prepare for the radioactive iodine pill. My question concerns dairy. We raise dairy goats and make cheese. I need to know if simple alfalfa contains iodine so I know whether it is safe to give her fresh cheese with iodine free salt during this period?

HI welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question I understand your concerns.
I would advise you not to give goats milk and its products to the patient as they contain good amounts of iodine which is not advisable for thyroid patients.
