Does Exercising Cause High BP And Diabetes?

I take lisinopril, 20mg daily for high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. Ive exercised with weights most of my life with fairly moderate to intense workouts, are there any complications that could arise as a result. Ive been taking these scrips for approximately 8 years. Im 62.

hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Doing work outs and exercises only helps in delaying or preventing BP and Diabetes. Exercises never cause them.
You can continue with exercises you can for your age which helps you in keeping the diabetes in control and further complications.

Hope this guides you. Thank you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you.
