Does Excessive Stress Delay Periods ?

Hey I ve taken quite a few pregnancy tests since the day of my missed period(or what i thought would be my period: which was approx three/four days ago) and i have menstrual like cramps, gas, diarhea and light cervical mucous. I ve been SO. stressed. out. and I believe (and my friends and family also believe) that it s off the stress i ve been dealing with. I ve had maybe one or two anxiety attacks in the past two weeks and i ve been really emotional. I ve been working a lot and thinking and stressing over the possibility of me being pregnant that i could have possibly delayed my period? Is it possible? I ve also been hanging out with my mother quite often this week and weekend and can t women synch periods or something? I m not sure, i ve heard that somewhere but is it possible? Like I said, i ve taken a few tests:P Two tests before what i thought was my period. One test 6 days before my period, one test 4 days before my period. And then three tests after, One the day of, one test two days after and one test this morning. All five tests coming out to be negative. For all test I even read all directions and made sure that I did the tests right, even using morning urine for them and everything. Do my symptoms correlate with pregnancy still or am I just so stressed out that i m delaying my period because there is still no blood or spotting, just the cramping gas and cervical mucous. What does this all mean?

hi,
Thanks for query,
It seems that the tests you have done are not done in proper time.
To get exact result test should be done after a week of your expected date of period,if period is regular.
Now this is proper time and do last time,if negative then go for blood test to confirm.
It seems that you have got Anxiety.
ok and bye.
