Does Enlarged Liver Lead To Pain In The Rib?

i had gallbladder removal two years back it was an open surgery now i feel slightly pain under my right rib and under left chest ultrasound report shows that i have hyperechoic and enlarged liver (diffuse fat infiltration) i want to ask what is it and what should i do?

hello. The pain may be cause by the post operative scar. You can check with a echography if you dont have an incisional hernia. Also you can have a neurological pain who can irradiate in the région. You have a steatotic liver but is painless. A blood test to evaluate the liver function is helpful
