Does Elisa Test Give Accurate Result For HIV?
in my work place one accident occurred to one person. and in hospital it come to know that he is having AIDS. unfortunately in that accident his blood touched by me and i had some wound in my hand... after that within 6 weeks i had done elisa test.. after that i had done it after 3 months . then i had done it after 6 months... it came negative. Does it means that i dont have hiv ? bcoz i am having flew and cold from one week.

elisa test for hiv will give accurate results. ofcourse we have to inteprete the result , taking certain time period called window period into consideration.that is 3 months from the incident.
since you have done elisa test at various time intervals,& all results are negative you need not worry, you don't have hiv.
your present symptoms may be due to common cold.
